Confidentiality
Contents of sessions are confidential. As is the information that a particular client follows a course of therapy.
Video Recording
A vital part of professional practice is the practitioner's self reflection. With your permission, I make recordings of sessions for my own review.
Insurance and Receipt
Many clients have health insurance which provides for reimbursement of psychotherapy payments.
Fees
My usual fee is 160$ per session. I have limited space to accommodate clients on a sliding scale fee based on household income. Receipts are provided for clients to use for insurance reimbursements if applicable.
Duration of Sessions
Although a full hour is reserved and dedicated to your session, the actual session is of 50 minutes duration. The remainder of the hour is reserved for me to complete my records.
Cancellation and Lateness
When possible, canceled sessions can be rescheduled within the billing month. For cancellations I charge my full fee with general exceptions for significant family emergencies.
